Katja is a life sciences innovation professional with over
6 years of experience in managing, developing and licensing novel technologies.

Prior to joining RQ Bio, Katja was Associate Commercialisation Director at Cambridge Enterprise Ltd,
the commercialisation arm of the University of Cambridge.There she led on opportunity assessment, intellectual property management as well as technology
and business development and licensing activities for a portfolio of groundbreaking, early stage inventions across therapeutics, diagnostics and medical devices.

Katja has a scientific background in human and molecular biology. She obtained a PhD in biochemistry from the Leipzig University in Germany having worked on novel peptide-drug conjugates and therapeutic peptides, followed by postdoctoral research in the field of microvascular research at Queen Mary University of London.
